Buckeye retiree here. The best part for me in Ohio is the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I bicycle there as much as I can. The scenic railroad is wonderful. The wildlife, the scenery,, the forests, are all beautiful. To enhance it even more, many metropolitan and townships set up their own parks contiguous to the Federal Park. So there’s hundreds of acres of interconnected parks, trails, attractions, etc. It’s worth the trip….bring your bicycle, or rent one in Peninsula.
